Escaping the Build Trap - Perhaps the single best book I've read about creating value when writing software.
Getting Real - This book goes into a wide variety of topics about cutting the fluff in feature ideation, writing code, and so much more.
Interviewing
Majority of Work - How to Pass the HR Tech Screen - There's a TON of useful interview advice packed into this 45 minute podcast episode! Plus the podcast itself is great and you should check it out.
Majority of Work - How to Pass the Behavioral Interview - Yes, this is another Majority of Work episode because they're just that good. This episode covers how to frame the stories that you end up telling in your interviews.
The Healthy Programmer - Lots of practical advice about incorporating a healthy balance in your day-to-day life specifically as a software developer.
Nerd Fitness - This won't be everyone's cup of tea, but the people who will enjoy it will enjoy it a lot. I personally find the advice here refreshing since it's realistic and attainable rather than the "get rich quick" type of advice that can often come along with health advice.
Work-Life Balance
Effortless - Although this isn't specifically about software, this book made me rethink how I approach coding and taught me how to gracefully handle the roadblocks I encounter along the way.
